I started my career when I was a Junior at TCU in Fort Worth, TX. I had extended training from Northwest Mutual and Southland Life in Life Insurance and Estate Planning. In 1981, Julia and I returned to Wichita Falls and joined my father in business, then specializing in health insurance and employee benefits. Today, we pride ourselves in taking care of our clients which are hundreds of group accounts and thousands of individual accounts. We now represent over 85 A or A+ Insurance companies for our needs. Our goal is to save our customer's money and providing them the best insurance product.

I was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1996. After earning a business degree from Midwestern State University in December of 2000, I moved to Austin to begin my career in the insurance business. I was hired by New York Life Insurance Company in April of 2001. I sold mostly life insurance, long term care, and annuities. After 4 1/2 years of living in the big city, my wife and I decided it was time to move back to our hometown. So in 2005, we came back to Wichita Falls and I joined the team of Whitmire and Whitmire. I continue to sell life insurance, long term care, and annuities, but have also added health insurance and employee benefits to the services I can offer. I have been married to my lovely wife, Amy, for 6 years. We are the proud parents of our first child, Maggie, born in February of 2008.

Jan has been with Whitmire & Whitmire since 1993. General Administrative responsibilities include the monitoring of all the agency's accounts and the support staff of the office. Direct contact with all small and large group accounts administrative personnel to assure the proper updating of account information and services rendered under the group's medical insurance policy. Assist all agents with matters concerning the enrollment of new group accounts to assure that all is handled in a timely manner. Assist both agents and clients with questions concerning Life policy coverage.

Review Providers Statement & Medical Explanation of Benefits with Clients to determine if Medical claims have been processed correctly. Contact Major Medical Insurance Carriers on the Client's behalf with questions concerning policy coverage and benefits. Obtain information from Major Medical Insurance Carriers on proper guidelines to meet requirements for approval of certain procedures or medications. Help Client's with letter writing appeals or concerns that need immediate attention from the Major Medical Insurance Carrier. Provide help to all clients of the agency, to included individual coverage, group coverage, and Medicare coverage.

Answer all in-coming phone calls and directing to the assigned agent. Assist in obtaining quotes and benefits from sever major medical insurance carrier for all agents. Prepare all sales and enrollment materials for small and large group's coverage.
